Twenty Senior Citizens of Mundka Village visited Peer led NaiKiran De-addiction Center Narela 23rd March. These senior citizens are undergoing Computer Training program organised by National Institute of Social Defence in collaboration with Nada India Foundation at Nai Kiran computer training center from 17th March-9th April 2011. Urbanized villages like Narela,Mundka Bakarwala ,Nazafgarh are few of the villages affected by use of legal drug like alcohol and smack etc. These senior citizens feel concerned about rise in use of alcohol and drugs and praised the efforts of Nai kiran in rehabilitating and organizing prevention efforts in this regards.
Mr.Suneel Vatsyayan, Chairperson of Nada India said that Pehchaan (Identity), a program of Nada India is an effort to help senior citizens and adolescents to build on their identity by engaging them in computer learning, radio club activities and community development process.
